What was Francis’s life span? It is assumed that Francis was born between 1540 to 1545 in England and died in 1596.

Who did Francis sail for? He sailed for Queen Elizabeth I.

How many voyages did Sir Francis Drake make? He made a total of three voyages.

What parts of the world did Sir Francis Drake explore? He left England, sailed around South America, north up the coast of North America went West through Pacific Ocean and around Asia and back to England.

What was the result of the voyages? England became a world power and became very rich.

How did this influence the world? They knew more about the “New World”.
