Drinking and Driving Punishment n The October 1998 ADAC and 12 October 1998, Stuttgarter Zeitung Nr. 235 magazines outlines. n From.03 to BAC with suspect driving or involvement in an accident; Driver’s license taken away for at least 6 months: 7 points against your driver’s license: Fined from 30 to 45 times your daily salary. n From.05 to USAREUR driver’s license suspended 3 months. Stopped by a routine traffic stop 2 points against your driver’s license and 200 DM fine n From.08 to Driving banned for one month, 4 points against driver’s license: 500 DM Fine: Higher penalties for 2 nd and 3rd offenses.
