The Scouts Group decided to go camping.

With them they took: a map a compass binoculars

When they arrived at the camping site, they put up a camp.

The site was on a hill and they had some interesting views.

They could see: a farm a castle a river a harbour

They drew a map

These four points are called directions

The compass points

If you are at the campsite what do you see if you look North?

If you are at the campsite what do you see if you look South?

In what direction from the campsite is the castle?

In what direction from the campsite is the harbour?

How many angles can be seen in this compass?

These angles are called Right Angles
