Natural Impact Initiative Connecting the Digital Generation to our Appalachian Heritage

Natural Impact Initiative OMS Mission Statement: Students will explore their unlimited potential, the interconnectedness of a social and digital existence, their roles in a global society, and the rich heritage of the Swannanoa Valley.

Natural Impact Initiative Owen Middle School is creating a school landscape that promotes environmental stewardship, citizen science, and exploratory learning.
