A tale about a goat that knew a short way to Eretz, Israel. The goat would disappear and return to the town with milk as sweet as honey. An old Jew, the goat's owner, wondered where she went. One day, the old Jew's son followed the goat through a cave. He got to Eretz and fell in love with the place and decided to stay there. He wrote a letter to his father and put it into the goat's ear, hoping that his father would find it and join him. But his father didn't find the letter and mourned for his son, thinking that he was dead. He asked a butcher to slaughter the goat. Eventually, the butcher found the letter and brought it to the old Jew. The father lamented that he had missed his chance to go to Eretz and see his son.
