Persuasive Paragraph Try to convince readers to agree with your idea. Write about an idea you believe in. 1.Tell what you think in the first sentence. 2.Give reasons (facts or opinions) to persuade readers they should agree with you. 3.Ask readers to take action.

Voting for Class Pet Write about a pet you really want. 1.Tell other students your opinion in the first sentence. 2.Then give reasons why they should vote for your choice. Use facts and opinions in making your argument. 3.Finally, ask students to vote for your pet.

Tree Frog I think a tree frog would be a great class pet. A tree frog can live in an aquarium. It’s easy to take care of. It chases and catches flies. You can watch it jump from one side of the glass to another. It swallows flies whole. A tree frog blinks its eyes when it swallows. The fly makes a bulge in the frog’s stomach.
