MOTIVATION TOUCHSTONE BY KELLY LUSK 9/2011

GOALS QUOTES Set specific goals that can be broken down into daily actions and be prioritized. AYD “You can’t hit a target you cannot see, and you cannot see a target you do not have.” Zig Ziglar “We aim above the mark to hit the mark.” Ralph Waldo Emerson “People with goals succeed because they know where they are going…It’s as simple as that.” Earl Nightingale

EDUCATIONAL GOALS Keep on schedule with Masters in Education, Elearning NCU degree to graduate in 2013 Maintain a 3.7 or greater GPA (grade point average) at NCU Work on NCU assignments at least 30 minutes/day Stay 2 assignments ahead to allow for conflicting professional or personal priorities when they occur Get employer reimbursement for 80% of classes

PERSONAL GOALS Track appointments, to-do lists, and goals in daily planner Maintain a healthy balance between school, professional and personal time Keep my daughter a top priority Find time to recharge daily (including going to sleep early, not obsess over school /work/personal matters, & learning meditation) Stay organized and keep myself on track

PROFESSIONAL GOALS Maintain proactive approach with a daily tracking system for work to-do lists and priorities Apply skills learned in NCU program to training job Learn new skills for online and web bases classes Expand Windows and Office skills as new versions become available Enhance training and presentation skills at any opportunity
