SINS AROUND THE CROSS Sin is a the transgression of the Law. One sin leads to another, thus many forms of sin. Perhaps all these forms may be seen in the crucifixion of Christ. Note some of the sins around the cross.

SINS AROUND THE CROSS “IGNORANCE” (Lack of knowledge)

“Yet now, brethren, I know that you did it in ignorance, as did also your rulers.” (Acts 3:17) Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots. (Luke 23:34) But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (1 Cor. 2:7-8)

Shall your mother and I and your brothers indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?” And his brothers envied him, but his father kept the matter in mind. (Genesis 37:3-11 )

(Gal. 5:19-21) For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. (James 3:16)

Many Reject the Power of God to Salvation So, as much as is in me, I am ready to preach the gospel to you who are in Rome also. (Rom. 1:16-17) They Reject the Gospel by Rejecting Baptism And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” (Mark 16:15-16)
