International Airline Rules and Regulators 1)International Civil Aviation organization (ICAO) Agency of the United Nations that promotes the safe and orderly growth of civil aviation

International Airline Rules and Regulators Set international standards e.g. air navigational facilities, air operations, airports, airworthiness of aircraft, and communications

Bilateral Agreements Definition :- Scheduled service between a point in an airline’s home country and a point in another an airline must have the approval of its own government and of the government of the foreign country

Beyond rights Beyond the agreed points of destination For example, USA allows SQ to fly to LAX and SFO but the spore government would like to fly to other destinations Boston, Seattle and Dallas etc.

Frequency and capacity 1)Frequency :- number of scheduled flights allowed per week 2)Capacity :- number of seats made available during a particular period, usually calculated per week

Air Services Agreement Air Services Agreement :- agreement between two countries on how their planes can fly through its territory.
