How are the construction materials produced? Your completed worksheet should look like this.

Limestone Stone is taken from a quarry and then cut to shape. Glass Sand is taken from a quarry and is then heated in a furnace. Steel Iron ore is heated in a furnace with carbon to make this alloy. Brick Clay is taken from a quarry, moulded into brick shapes and then fired in a furnace. Concrete Clay and limestone are heated together to make cement. This is then mixed with sand, aggregate and water. Copper Copper ore (copper oxide) is heated with carbon to extract the copper. Electrolysis is then used to purify the metal.
