WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT

 God Instituted Marriage Gen 2:22-25 And the rib that the Lord had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man. Then the man said, “This at last is bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called woman, because she was taken out of Man.” Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.

 Romans 7:2 The Marriage Law Is Binding Until Death Thus a married woman is bound by law to her husband while he lives, but if her husband dies she is released from the law of marriage.

 Those Who Have Never Been Married Who Can Lawfully Marry? 1 Corinthians 7:8-9 To the unmarried and the widows I say that it is good for them to remain single as I am. But if they cannot exercise self-control, they should marry. For it is better to marry than to be aflame with passion.

 The Innocent Party Matthew 5:32 But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery. Who Can Lawfully Divorce?

 They Must Reconcile or Remain Unmarried 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 But to the married I give instructions, not I but the Lord, that the wife should not leave her husband, but if she does leave, she must remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband, and that the husband should not divorce his wife. What happens if a husband or wife divorce for an unlawful cause?

 Widows & Innocent Party Who Can lawfully Remarry? Romans 7:2-3 Thus a married woman is bound by law to her husband while he lives, but if her husband dies she is released from the law of marriage. Accordingly, she will be called an adulteress if she lives with another man while her husband is alive. But if her husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she marries another man she is not an adulteress.

 When God instituted Marriage his desire was that a man was to be married to a woman until death. However, because of sin God made one exception for a man or women to put away their spouse; Adultery (Matthew19:9)! Conclusion
