LIBEREC is the district town of Liberec Region the town population is about inhabitants It lies in a wide mountain valley between two mountain ranges – the Ještěd Ridge and Jizera Mountains
History The town was founded as a resting place for merchants in 14 th century It became a small town in the 16 th century, but it was quite unimportant till the beginning 19 th century The growth was brought by flourishing of textile and metal industry and glass making and glass cutting
