Wind Turbines By: Michaela Adams, Garrett Curtis, Steven Sims, Kevin Stucker

Wind Turbine Parts Wind turbines have parts that work together. Turbines have a shaft that is connected to a generator the generator supplies the energy that is used by many homes and companies.

Wind Turbines Replacing Oil and Coal Today we have many turbines in the world turning wind into energy for everybody and eventually the world will be powered by wind turbines instead of coal and oil.

Where Wind Turbines Are Wind turbines are located in many different places. Some of the places are Palm Springs, California, Denmark, Indiana, and Hawaii.

How Much Energy Turbines Produce At twenty-eight mph a wind turbine can produce five thousand kilowatts, while at fourteen mph equals five hundred kilowatts. Unfortunately if the wind speed drops to eleven mph, there zero kilowatts produced.

Green Future So as you can see we are in for a green future. So if you go out and buy one your sure to be green.
