Chemical resistant gloves should be worn whenever the potential for contact with corrosive or toxic substances and substances of unknown toxicity exists.

Gloves should be selected on the basis of the materials being handled, the particular hazard involved, and their suitability for the operation being conducted.

Remove contaminated clothing and gloves before leaving laboratory. Gloves that are even slightly used must be removed before leaving the laboratory.
