Jehovah Shammah – The God who is there

Where have we been so far? El Elohym – Our creator, the one who wired us, for His glory El Elyon – The Highest of All, The God Most High Adonai – The one we choose to serve and call Master El Roi – The one who sees me, my need, everything El Shaddai – The all Almighty, All Sufficient One

Jehovah Ezer – My helper, even when I don’t realize I need help Jehovah Jirah – The God who provides for everything I need Jehovah Rapha – He heals our hurts, our broken hearts, and makes us whole Jehovah Rohi – The Lord Our Shepherd, who takes responsibility for us Jehovah Sabaoth – The Commander in Chief of the Armies of Heaven

Jehovah Mekkedeshem – He sanctifies us and makes us holy Jehovah Nissi – Our banner, our standard, the military strategist Jehovah Tsidkenu – The one who makes us righteous because He is righteous Jehovah Shalom – He gives us peace, sound mindedness, and well being even in the most difficult times

Jehovah Shammah The only name of God that hasn’t been revealed yet Dependant upon the End Times, the destruction of all evil, and the reinstatement of perfection The complete fulfillment of the full revelation of Our God

The background God created man in his image to have complete fellowship with Him Pre-creation of earth, Lucifer chose to rebel against God (Isaiah 14:12-15) The whole Eve event cost mankind the ability to dwell with God The Glory of God left mankind

When did the Glory leave? God’s Shekinah Glory presence filled the Most Holy Place God’s Glory was still present in Ezekiel 8:4 The Glory went to the temple threshold (Ezekiel 9:3 and 10:4) The Glory moves to the East Gate (Ez 10:18-19) The Glory moves to the Mt of Olives (Ez 11:22) God promises it will be restored (Ez 48:35)

The prophecy of a coming age This timing is discussed, argued, and is still not completely understood but I’ll do my best: Matthew 24 The Tribulation will begin and continue for 3.5 years The Great Tribulation will continue for another 3.5 years The rapture of the church occurs at the end of the tribulation period The enemy is bound, Christ establishes His 1000 year reign (Rev 20:6) The enemy is released for a short season (Rev 20:7) The New Jerusalem descends and Jehovah Shammah is revealed

Let’s sort this out a bit Today, creation exists in three layers – Earth (man) Genesis 1:28 – Air (the enemy) Eph 2:2, Dan 10:13 – Heaven (only the Father) If you’ve accepted Christ for your salvation, you immediately go to heaven and see His Glory (2 Cor 5:8) The New Jerusalem is only restored after a season and is different than the heaven of today (Rev 21:2) All evil has been destroyed and has become non- existent (Rev 19:20, Rev 20:10, Rev 21:8) The Shekinah Glory has been restored in fullness to the earth
