Clean Cities / 11 About LCF LCF is a 501(c)3 non-profit housed at the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources. LCF became a designated affiliate of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Cities program in One of two Clean Cities Coalitions in Louisiana Since 2000, we have worked within the five-parish air quality non-attainment area to develop the infrastructure to support the adoption of clean fuel powered vehicles. Clean Cities / 25 Funding Opportunity Announcements DERA Funding for Port and Marine Projects Projects to Improve Air Quality at Ports This RFP will close on December 11, 2014, at 4 pm EST. EPA expects to make awards in early For more information and to access the RFP and other documents, please visit Funding Amount: $5 million in Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) funding for projects to reduce diesel emissions at marine and inland water ports in areas of poor air quality. Projects capped at $2 million each. Eligible Entities: Port authorities and state & local government agencies with jurisdiction over transportation or air quality are eligible to apply. Community groups, terminal operators, shipping carriers, and other related entities are encouraged to participate through partnerships with eligible applicants. Clean Cities / 26 Funding Opportunity Announcements The Propane Education & Research Council offers incentives for the purchase or conversion of qualified mowers. Now through December 2014, the incentive amounts are DOUBLED! Fleets, landscape companies, and other eligible entities can receive $2,000 per qualifying new mower purchase or $1,000 for each mower conversion. A single company or organization may receive incentive payments for the purchase of up to 25 eligible mowers per year.
