Mid-Continent Conference All-Academic Teams An average of 90 student-athletes per year have been selected to Mid-Continent Conference All-Academic Teams. To be honored you must be of sophomore standing and have a 3.0 GPA. True freshmen, red-shirt freshmen and first-year transfers are ineligible.

Oakland’s NCAA Leadership Conference Participants The NCAA Leadership Conference developed out of the success of the NCAA Life Skills Program. The Leadership Conference was designed under the basic premise that student-athletes are well positioned to be leaders. The first conference was held in May of 1997 and nearly 1,800 student-athletes have participated since the inception. The participants are chosen through a national nomination, ranking and selection process.
