Reading Matthew 25 Matthew 25 Verses Verse 40 The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’

Question Is Mission for me? Is Mission for me?

Need to understand mission All Christians are and must be involved in mission It is not an option or a special calling – it is part of being a Christian Why is mission so important?..because our God is a missionary God

MAF is a Christian organisation whose mission is to fly light aircraft in developing countries so that people in remote areas can receive the help they need

MAF exist to take the Good news of Jesus Christ through Word and Deed MAF exist to take the Good news of Jesus Christ through Word and Deed

 Combined Scheduled/Charter Airline & Air Taxi  Operates in over 31 countries  Over 130 aircraft  Serves 300+ missionary and relief agencies  Flies to more destinations than any other airline  Take-off or landing every 3 minutes  & Logistics What do we do?

Working in 37 countries 67 bases of operation Our situation today…

MAF’s global fleet comprises over 130 light aircraft

Our situation today… MAF operates 130 aircraft flying about 60,000 hrs per year Cessna 172, 206, 207, 210 Cessna 208 Caravan GA8 Airvan BN2A Islander Pilatus PC12 De Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otter Beechcraft 200

MAF is focusing on places with geographical barriers that are preventing people from having access to the Gospel in all its fullness

A 7-hour road journey in difficult conditions takes just 40 minutes by air, enabling surgeons to arrive quickly and safely alongside Impact Foundation’s floating hospital in Bangladesh

It’s 4 1 ⁄ 2 hours over a mountain ridge compared with a 6- minute flight between Piaya and Malambo, Tanzania. These flights are vital for Maasai evangelists as they travel to share the Gospel

“Nepal does not have a transportation problem because nowhere is further than 5 days walk from the nearest road” Narayan Sharma (Church leader)

Papua New Guinea. Can you see the Landing Strip?

One-year-old Daniel, flown to Uganda by MAF

I will say, big thank you as without your help he could have remained in Yambio, Sudan and like many others (when in such circumstances) die as they cannot receive any better treatment.Thank you so much. The whole community who saw the life of the child at risk in Yambio are just grateful as his life has been rescued. Praise be to God.
