THE SUPREMACY OF CHRIST BECAUSE JESUS IS FULLY GOD AND HEAD OVER ALL CREATION AND THE CHURCH, I WILL CONTINUE TO TRUST AND OBEY THE ONE WHO HAS RECONCILED ME TO HIMSELF

FREEDOM IN CHRIST COL 2:16-23

COL 2:8 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.

COL 2:15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.

FREEDOM IN OUR PRACTICE IN CHRIST COL 2:16-17

COL 2:16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.

1 TIM 4:3 They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth.

1 TIM 4:4 For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,

COL 2:3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

COL 2:19 He has lost connection with the Head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow.

COL 2:6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him,

COL 2:7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

FREEDOM BECAUSE OF OUR POWER FROM CHRIST COL 2:20-23

COL 2:20 Since you died with Christ to the basic principles of this world, why, as though you still belonged to it, do you submit to its rules:

COL 2:21 "Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!"?

COL 2:22 These are all destined to perish with use, because they are based on human commands and teachings.

COL 2:23 Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self- imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.

COL 2:20 Since you died with Christ to the basic principles of this world, why, as though you still belonged to it, do you submit to its rules:
