2. 10 Because of God’s grace to me, I have laid the foundation like an expert builder… 11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have— Jesus Christ. 1 CORINTHIANS 3:10,11

3. The SALVATION of Christ Jesus! 13 For God has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, 14 who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins. (Colossians 1:13,14)

4. The SUPREMACY of Christ Jesus! Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation. (Colossians 1:15)

5. The SUFFICIENCY of Christ Jesus! In him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. (Colossians 2:3)

6. 4 I am telling you this so no one will deceive you with well-crafted arguments. 5 For though I am far away from you, my heart is with you. And I rejoice that you are living as you should and that your faith in Christ is strong. COLOSSIANS 2:4-7

7. 6 And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. 7 Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.

8. Don’t Be Deceived by Well-Crafted ARGUMENTS I am telling you this so no one will deceive you with well-crafted arguments. (Colossians 2:4)

10. 3 We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. 4 We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. 2 CORINTHIANS 10:3,4

11. 6 And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. 7 Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. COLOSSIANS 2:6,7

12. Accept His LEADERSHIP Follow His EXAMPLE Practice His TEACHINGS G R O W and O V E R F L O W !

13. 8 Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ. COLOSSIANS 2:8-10

14. 9 For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. 10 So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.

15. Don’t Be Captured by Empty PHILOSOPHIES Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies... (Colossians 2:8)

17. 19 As the Scriptures say, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and discard the intelligence of the intelligent.” 20 So where does this leave the philosophers, the scholars, and the world’s brilliant debaters? God has made the wisdom of this world look foolish. 1 CORINTHIANS 1:19-21

18. 21 Since God in his wisdom saw to it that the world would never know him through human wisdom, he has used our foolish preaching to save those who believe.

19. We do not use words that come from human wisdom. Instead, we speak words given to us by the Spirit, using the Spirit’s words to explain spiritual truths. ( 1 Corinthians 2:13 ) The Liberated Life is Rooted In God’s Wisdom

20. God’s wisdom Is shallow enough for a baby And deep enough for a scholar.

21. 16 So don’t let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new moon ceremonies or Sabbaths… 18 Don’t let anyone condemn you by insisting on pious self-denial or the worship of angels… COLOSSIANS 2:16,18,20-23

22. So why do you keep on following the rules of the world, such as, 21 “Don’t handle! Don’t taste! Don’t touch!”? 22 Such rules are mere human teachings about things that deteriorate as we use them. 23 These rules may seem wise because they require strong devotion, pious self-denial, and severe bodily discipline. But they provide no help in conquering a person’s evil desires.

23. Don’t Be Condemned by Religious RULES So don’t let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink... (Colossians 2:16)

25. Entering into this fullness is not something you figure out or achieve. It’s not a matter of being circumcised or keeping a long list of laws. No, you’re already in…not through some secretive initiation rite but rather through what Christ has already gone through for you, destroying the power of sin. COLOSSIANS 2:11 (Message Bible)
