Presentation transcript:

Believers want to be involved in their communities, but do not know how and where to start. (Create opportunity) The needs of our communities are not effectively being addressed because only a few obedient Christians try to make a difference on their own. (Many small things instead of a few big things) Local faith communities are in need to be more relevant with integrity amongst their own communities. (Not only preaching and teaching, but doing) There is a overwhelming desire for better cooperation amongst faith communities of all denominations in our country. (Unity in obedience) THE CHALLENGE

1. Shift in Vision Redefine purpose, role and function of the faith community. Building the faith community Growing the kingdom SHIFTING THE PARADIGM TOWARDS THE KINGDOM

2. Shift in Strategy Redefine equipping, mentoring and coaching of every member to become disciple makers. Making members to come Nurturing disciple makers to go to nations SHIFTING THE PARADIGM TOWARDS THE KINGDOM

3. Shift in Structure Redefine public, social, personal and intimate community as disciple making opportunities. Organising Christians with Christians Synchronising Christians with lost people and people in need SHIFTING THE PARADIGM TOWARDS THE KINGDOM

4. Shift in Impact Redefine stewardship, witnessing and servant hood as disciple making lifestyle. Committees for Evangelism, Missions, Welfare Empowerment of all believers in every sphere of life to transform the world SHIFTING THE PARADIGM TOWARDS THE KINGDOM

 The faith community’s vision and mission on realising the kingdom becomes a reality.  The faith community’s strategy of following in the footsteps of Jesus becomes a lifestyle for all members.  A structure in the faith community is provided to synchronise and link members with unbelievers and people in need.  The impact of the faith community is increased in all spheres of life.

To enable faith communities and organisations to reach their kingdom objectives. (Jerusalem to the ends of the world) To enable members to reach and care for people in need. To involve all age groups. It is developed as a practical tool: It is developed as a catalyst: To cultivate a giving and caring culture. For a more comprehensive missions approach.

To reach those nobody is reaching we have to do what nobody is doing! This means we have to mobilise believers in a way that they have not been mobilised before!

Mobilisation of all God given resources and talents to serve communties. (For all faith communities)

Inspire, synchronise and celebrate acts of compassion through professional networking solutions (For all faith communities)

“And they were continuing steadfastly in the teaching of the apostles and in fellowship, and in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came on every soul and many wonders and miracles took place through the apostles. And continuing steadfastly with one mind day by day in the Temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they shared food in gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church those being saved from day to day.” (Direct translation of Acts 2:44-47) “And they were continuing steadfastly in the teaching of the apostles and in fellowship, and in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came on every soul and many wonders and miracles took place through the apostles. And all the believers were together, and had all things in common. And they sold possessions and goods and distributed them to all according as everyone had need. And continuing steadfastly with one mind day by day in the Temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they shared food in gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church those being saved from day to day.” (Direct translation of Acts 2:44-47)
