Magnificent Future 1 Corinthians 2:9 These people, Donatus, are Christians What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him.

The Lord’s “Well Done” Matthew 25:14-30 Congratulations from your loving mother on your wedding. 20 years ago …... Tonight ……

Matthew 25: 14 “Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his property to them. To one he gave five talents of money, to another two talents, and to another one talent, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. The man who had received the five talents went at once and put his money to work and gained five more. So also, the one with the two talents gained two more. But the man who had received the one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.

19 “After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. The man who had received the five talents brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.’ 21 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

22 “The man with the two talents also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two talents; see, I have gained two more.’ 23 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ >> 24 “Then the man who had received the one talent came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. So I was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’

26 “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest. 28 “ ‘Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents. For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

Key Points We will all meet Jesus Christians (only) into heaven Jesus “Well done”

Prizes Worth Waiting For 1.Full wisdom 2.“Well done”

Prizes Worth Waiting For This is a trust-worthy saying that deserves full acceptance (and for this we labour and strive), that we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, and especially of those who believe.

Fight the good fight with all thy might, Christ is thy strength, and Christ thy right; Lay hold on life, and it shall be Thy joy and crown eternally. Run the straight race through God’s good grace, Lift up thine eyes and seek His face; Life with its way before thee lies, Christ is the path, and Christ the prize.

Cast care aside, lean on thy Guide; His boundless mercy will provide; Lean, and the trusting soul shall prove Christ is its life, and Christ its love. Faint not, nor fear, His arms are near, He changeth not, and thou art dear; Only believe, and thou shalt see That Christ is all in all to thee. John S. B. Monsell.

I hear the sound of rustling in the leaves of the trees, The Spirit of the Lord has come down on the earth. The church that seemed in slumber has now risen from its knees, And dry bones are responding with the fruits of new birth. Oh, this is now a time for declaration, The word will go to all men everywhere; The church is here for healing of the nations, Behold the day of Jesus drawing near. My tongue will be the pen of a ready writer, And what the Father gives to me I’ll sing; I only want to be His breath, I only want to glorify the King.

And all around the world the body waits expectantly, The promise of the Father is now ready to fall. The watchmen on the tower all exhort us to prepare, And the church responds - a people who will answer the call. And this is not a phase which is passing; It’s the start of an age that is to come. And where is the wise man and the scoffer? Before the face of Jesus they are dumb. My tongue will be the pen of a ready writer, And what the Father gives to me I’ll sing; I only want to be His breath, I only want to glorify the King.

A body now prepared by God and ready for war, The prompting of the Spirit is our word of command. We rise, a mighty army, at the bidding of the Lord, The devils see and fear, for their time is at hand. And children of the Lord hear our commission That we should love and serve our God as one. The Spirit won’t be hindered by division In the perfect work that Jesus has begun. My tongue will be the pen of a ready writer, And what the Father gives to me I’ll sing; I only want to be His breath, I only want to glorify the King. Ronnie Wilson.
