There are just few countries in the World wich are in such a strong friendship like Poland and Hungary. Ages ago when the well know proverb „ Pole Hungarian… ” arose, both nations were very close. Even in the contemporary history we can find numbers of examples of their long and strong friendship. The Second World War After September’s defeat, when Polish command went to Romania to find their way to the allied base in Paris, thousands of Polish soldiers found the asylum in Hungary. Despite the fact that after they entered the country they were interned immediately, most of them managed to escape because Hungarian authorities gave them such an opportunity.

Hungarian Revolution In1956 bloody suppressed Hungarian Revolution broke out. It was initiated by Polish strikes in Poznan. The beginning of the uprising was the march of students from technical university in Budapest designed to support protesters.
