Narrative Writing

Step 1: Read the prompt carefully before you begin. Writing Situation: Your teacher punishes the whole class because one student misbehaved. How do you feel about this? Think about reasons you feel this way. Directions for Writing: W rite a narrative essay explaining how you feel about this situation.

Step 2: Take a stand. Think about the story you are going to tell that relates to the prompt.

Consider the following prompt: Write a story telling about the best day you ever had.
