Geometry What is a Geometry?  In InRoads, a Geometry file is the file with the.alg extension that contains geometric information defining points, and alignments.  For our purposes here today, we can say that the Geometry file contains alignments, both horizontal and vertical.

Questions and Discussion Comment: Assigned vs. Active radio buttons on the View Horizontal Annotation dialog box. Assiged uses the alignment’s style for the symbology. Active uses the style defines in the combo box for the symbology. Active can be used to override the assigned style.
