Procedure Set-Up 1.Attach cable from needle to monitor

Flushing the Needle 3.Attach saline syringe and flush the needle (VERY important)
4.Insert tip of the SmartNeedle into tissue at a 45 degree angle and inject a small amount of saline to clear any air bubbles Puncture

Clinical Procedure 7.Withdraw the probe stylet, leaving the needle in place
