Landforms in Tennessee Landforms are shapes that make up the surface of the earth. Major landforms of Tennessee: Mississippi River, Plains, Smokey Mountains, Nashville Basin, Cumberland Plateau, and the Tennessee River Look at the physical map (map that shows natural features) on page 14.
