Characteristics of a Critical Thinker… Being open to views that are new and to different viewpoints Being able to express and present ideas in an organized manner Having evidence and logical reasoning to support ideas and views Listening to others but thinking for one’s self Recognizes and challenges statements or ideas accepted as true without supporting data Identifies and explores as many alternatives as possible when analyzing a situation Utilizes logical reasoning skills
