Prophecies - predicting the future events and changes which will happen in your life by other people. Prophecies are often declaimed by fortune-tellers. They can come true or not. Fortune-teller - is a being (e.g. a woman, a demon or an angel) that has power to put spells and is present literature, art and films. It tells the fortune by using the crystal ball or cards.

There are different types of the divination: - divination by means of fire - divination by means of air - divination by means of water - divination by means of earth

Divination by means of water- consists in interpreting phenomena which occur on the surface of the water. The phenomena like rising tides, outflows, streams were also included in a fortune-telling. Divination by means of fire - bursting and fierce fire was considered as good omen, whereas fire which smouldered was considered as unfavourable omen.

Prophecies can be regarded by some people as nonsense. According to them, prophecies can be contrary to the religion and practised faith.
