Tirimoana Kapa Pasifika 2015 Thanks to Mr Kaiser, the Board of Trustees and our Whānau for this wonderful educational experience.

Our luxury travel to the biggest festival in the Pacific began with Matua Bill on the Ritchies bus.

The sounds were loud, the costumes colourful, the crowds huge. We had stepped into another world.

The cuisine had to be tasted to be fully appreciated.

Eventually, we arrived on to the Aotearoa Stage to perform for the crowd.

We performed the 6 items that we had learnt in 3 weeks…

..including our favourite new waiata.

Our tamahine were beautiful with their costumes and poi.

Our tamatane were fierce in the haka. The audience generously applauded them

We enjoyed performing and hopefully will be invited back in the future.

Ngā Mihi Further acknowledgements to our… …new photographer Steph Taylor. …parents and grandparents who came. …teachers for encouraging us. …Mr Ducat who waved good-bye and wished us luck!
