My state is Oregon, and it is called the Beaver State. Oregon has a motto, and it is called Alis volat Propiis which means “She flies on her own wings”. MY STATE

Oregon is in this region called the Pacific Northwest. Oregon is called that because it is located near the Pacific Ocean and it is in the Northwest. Oregon’s border states include: California, Nevada, Washington state, and Idaho. GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Oregon’s capital city is Salem, Oregon. Oregon’s three largest cities are Salem, Portland, and Eugene. Oregon’s governor is John Kitzhaber. Oregon’s population rank is 27 th. CITIES, GOVERNOR AND POPULATION Portland Salem, OR John Kitzhaber Eugene, OR

You should visit Oregon because you can do many things like visit Mt. Hood. Some reasons why you should visit Mt. Hood is because you can practice skiing and snowboarding. The best time to visit Mt. Hood is fall or winter. MT. HOOD

In Oregon you can also visit the Oregon Zoo which I would recommend because I like animals and zoos. Best time to visit the zoo is around spring or summer. OREGON ZOO

Another reason why you should visit Oregon is to see its biggest city/ hot spot: Portland. I like Portland and would like for you to recommend visiting Portland because since it’s a big city there’s a lot to do there and if you like basketball you can see the Portland Trail Blazers play. The best time to visit Portland is in the spring or the summer. PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS

In conclusion, I think you should visit my state Oregon is because it is a beautiful state and there is a lot you can do in Oregon. CONCLUSION
