Conference Center AV 2008 Data Projectors Document Camera DVD/VHS Player

2 Conference Center Data Projectors The Conference Center has two new Sanyo data projectors mounted in the ceiling in Rooms 2 and 3. And an AV cart with a – Samsung Document Camera – Zenith DVD/VHS tape player – Kramer Switcher

3 Projector Inputs Inputs for each projector are on their respective walls –Room 2 on the North Wall –Room 3 on the East Wall –Video goes to the projector –Audio goes to the audio mixer –And then to overhead speakers

4 Connecting a Computer 1)Check out cable and Sanyo remote from IMC 2)Connect the laptop VGA cable and 1/8 inch audio from the computer to the wall 3) Start projector by pressing the red button on the Sanyo Remote

5 Computer Connection via Cart 1- Check out remotes from IMC 2- Connect the laptop VGA cable and 1/8 inch audio on the cart to the computer 3- Then the cable at back of cart to wall.

6 Computer Connection via Cart 4- Turn Projector on via Sanyo remote 5- If no image, select input 1 on Kramer switcher The Sanyo Projector should be set to Computer when connected to black cart

7 Document Camera Connect Cart to wall (see earlier slide) Select input 2 on Kramer switcher Turn camera on here See PDF for more info located on cart or in IMC

8 AV Cart: DVD/VHS 1- Check out Remotes 2- Connect Cart to wall (see earlier slide) 3- Select input 3 on Kramer switcher 4- DVD or VHS Remember - Sanyo Projector is always set to Computer when connected to black cart

9 To use Audio Check out mics and/or remotes from IMC. –mics are in sets of 2 (one handheld & one lavaliere per room) –They can be used in combination but no more than 3 at a time Turn audio system on in Room 2

10 Audio in Conference Center Audio is distributed to each of the three rooms through 3 separate sets of speakers. Volume controls for each room is next to each of the south entry doors. Each room can receive audio from the wall plates, room 2 north floor pocket and any of the 3 sets of wireless lavaliere and/or handheld microphones. The mics are checked out from the IMC.

11 Audio in Conference Center In Room 2, an additional set of switches allows to separate or combine the speakers in each of the rooms from the three mixers.

12 Lights In room 2 and 3, the fluorescent lights next to the wall of the projected image can be controlled from a single switch indicated by wall lights Room 2 also has a set of spot lights controlled by this switch Room 2 Room 3 Room 2

13 Optional - 2nd computer Connect via Document Camera through the blue cable connected to the external input. You can then switch from the Int/Ext button here rather than the Kramer Connect to Computer

14 Additional Presentation Desk The Spectrum desk has a DVD player –Connect cable marked DVD player hanging on desk to wall. –Switch Sanyo to Video –A computer connects as noted before Computer Video

15 Inventory 2 Sanyo Projectors (Ceiling Mounted) (remotes in IMC) 2 computer/audio cables (25’) (check-out from IMC) AV Cart –W/ computer/audio cable –DVD/VHS Player (remote in IMC) –Samsung Document Camera (remote in IMC) Spectrum Desk –DVD/VHS Player with cable to connect to wall projector jacks Microphones (check-out from IMC) Documentation (on cart, desk and in IMC in 3 ring binder)

16 Remotes 201 Sanyo Projector Remote Turn on (once) or off (twice) Timer will turn Sanyo off also –Freeze Saves last image til next click –No Show (Shutter) Click on, Click off

17 Document Camera (Remote) Full-featured Remote –Freeze –Zoom –Brightness –Save images
