Discovering Your Spiritual Gifts Identifying Your Primary Gift and Role in the Body of Christ “As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” (I Peter 4:10)

A Foundation for Spiritual Gifts 1. The New Testament lists a wide VARIETY of spiritual gifts. 2. Each Christian has a PRIMARY GIFT where they should focus their time. 3. The Holy Spirit wants to supernaturally reveal JESUS through these gifts.

A Foundation for Spiritual Gifts 4. Like muscles in our body, gifts can be present but UNDEVELOPED. 5. Every one of these gifts is important and has a FUNCTION. 6. God’s primary PURPOSE for them is to advance His Kingdom.

Don’t Confuse Spiritual Gifts with… NATURAL TALENTS FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT CHRISTIAN ROLES COUNTERFEIT GIFTS

Are You a Thief? You rob YOURSELF of being in God’s will. You rob the BODY OF CHRIST of the benefit of that gift. You rob GOD of the glory He deserves.
