First the students were blessed by the Head Priest of the Village

They lit the traditional oil lamp to commence the day’s proceedings. (All the special occasions are started by lighting an oil lamp which is a tradition)

The Teachers Prerformed two songs for the students on the stage. They were written by one of the staff members.Then the students are given some sweets and a drink by the teachers.

Staff members presented various things for the enjoyment of the students.

They sang a song on the stage with the teachers. Then they were given some sweets and a drink by the teachers.

Each grade performed a song on the stge. GRADE 1 GRADE 3 GRADE 2 GRADE 4

Teachers presented a token for each student in the school

All sang the National Anthem.
