¿Conoces a una persona famosa?

Yes. I know Will Smith. He’s really tall. No. I don’t know a famous person. But I want to meet Mariano Rivera. (Remember that you can use conocer for “to meet.”)

¿Conoces a Señor Coolio?

Yes. I know Mr. Coolio. He is really awesome. No. I don’t know Mr. Coolio. But I know Miss Arnold.

¿Conoces San Diego?

Yes. I know San Diego. It’s really pretty and I like the beach. No. I don’t know San Diego. I want to visit California some day.

¿Conoces el libro Divergent por Veronica Roth?

Yes. I know that book. I am excited for book number 3. No. I don’t know that book. I prefer books like Harry Potter.

¿Conoces la banda Modest Mouse?
