2. There are three kinds of demonstrative adjectives in Spanish:
One points out that something is near the speaker
One points out that something is farther away from the speaker
The last one points out that something is at a great distance (…over there)
**Demonstrative Adjectives agree in number and gender with the
noun that they modify.

3. This/These (for something near the speaker)

4. That/Those (for something farther away from the speaker)

7. Demonstratives can also be pronouns that take the place of nouns.
They have the same number and gender as the noun they replace and have a written accent.
