By: Cami Johnson OPEC is the leading crude oil producer, made up of 12 countries, and working to make fair and stable prices.

OPEC member countries are not just located in the Middle East. By: Cami Johnson In this body of water which is the Persian Gulf lies Kuwait, Qatar, and United Arab Emirates three of OPEC’s countries.

The 2000’s bring Prices in the $75 – over $100! The 1970’s bring Prices in the $43 per barrel. The 1990’s bring Prices in the $15 - $30 per barrel. The 1980’s bring Prices in the $70 then down to $20 per barrel. In 1960 OPEC started. The 1960’s bring Prices in the $17 per barrel. When is it just time to say enough is enough?
