Frenštát pod Radhoštěm The city is surrounded by entertainment, cultures and many known personalities have lived there.

Jiří Raška *4th February 1941 in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm – † 20th January 2012 in Nový Jičín Czech ski jumper Olympic champion and Czech skier of the century.

Karel Loprais (* 4th March 1949 in Ostrava) is a Czech racing driver and six-times winner of the Dakar Rally in the truck category, who lives in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm.

The ski-jump areal of Jiří Raška This ski-jump areal was named after Jiří Raška. There are four ski-jumps K95, K45, K20, K9.

Sports area Pustevny Pustevny (1018 m) is a saddle in the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy. There is a ski resort which can be reached by cableway. The wooden buildings built in the late 19th century by Dušan Jurkovič are typical view for Pustevny area.
