Jiří Raška *4th February 1941 in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm – † 20th January 2012 in Nový Jičín Czech ski jumper Olympic champion and Czech skier of the century.

Karel Loprais (* 4th March 1949 in Ostrava) is a Czech racing driver and six-times winner of the Dakar Rally in the truck category, who lives in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm.

The ski-jump areal of Jiří Raška This ski-jump areal was named after Jiří Raška. There are four ski-jumps K95, K45, K20, K9.

Sports area Pustevny Pustevny (1018 m) is a saddle in the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy. There is a ski resort which can be reached by cableway. The wooden buildings built in the late 19th century by Dušan Jurkovič are typical view for Pustevny area.

Ice sculptures is exhibition held every year in Pustevny.

Radegast Radegast is a hypothetical God of sun, war, abundance and harvest. The statue is also a symbol of beer named Radegast. The statue was created by sculptor Albín Polášek.
