① The output signal of a room thermostat is ON or OFF according to changes of room temperature ② The power supply to a motorized valve is ON or OFF according to a signal output the room thermostat. ③ When power is ON the valve is opened and hot or cold water flows to control the room temperature When power is OFF the valve is closed and the supply of hot/or cold water is stopped to control the room temperature ■ HOW TO CONTROL THE VALVE ROOM THERMOSTAT ① A signal output of a room thermostat is ON or OFF according to changes of room temperature. ② According to the output signal power of a boiler is ON or OFF and the boiler starts or stops operating to control the temperature ■ HOW TO CONTROL THE HEATER PIPE MOTOR VALVE 1 Rev.0( ) HEATER MODEL : ED-300 SERIES PROGRAMMABLE TYPE >>DIGITAL ROOM THERMOSTAT PROGRAMMABLE ED ROOM THERMOSTAT 1. APPLICATION. The ED-300 thermostat based on the auto-tuning method has a special program that can reserve the weekly operation of the heating / or cooling systems. It is designed to maintain the room temperature at the set degree by sending a signal output to an actuator to open or close the hot water valve when the room temperature rises or lowers than the set temperature. It can be applied for ON/OFF control of heating systems such as district heating, a boiler, a heating fan and a high thermal heater and air-conditioning system etc.

■ Input Power : AC 220V/50~60 Hz ■ Max Load Current : Resistance Load 10A ■ Tempe Range : 5 ℃ ~ 35 ℃ ■ Temp Setting Scale : 0.5 ℃ /Step ■ ON-OFF Differential: 1 ℃ Max. ■ Temp Indication Accuracy : 1.0 ℃ Max ■ Ambient Temp : 5 ℃ ~ 45 ℃ ■ Case Material : Fire-resistant ABS FRONT REAR UNIT : mm ■ User can select Celsius or Fahrenheit when ordering. ■ A weekly time schedule program is built-in. ■ It is programmed to protect a boiler from being frozen to burst in winter. ■ It is designed to memorize the set temperature at the time of a power failure. Users do not need to reset it when power returns. ■ Easy to set the temperature by dialing a knob. ■ Easy to check the temperature on a wider display window. 3. SPECIFICATION 4. DIMENSION 2. FEATURES

1. MODE OF GENERAL OPERATION When a MODE button is pressed a symbol disappears on a display window and the thermostat returns to a mode of general operation to control the heating or cooling system as usual according to a signal output to be transmitted from the room thermostat when the room temperature differs from the set temperature. ( 1 ) POWER-ON When the power supply is ON after installation the current time, temperature and a day of the week are displayed on a window. ( 2 ) HOW TO CHECK THE CURRENT SET TEMPERATURE When a knob is dialed to left or right a little the current set temperature is shown on a window. ( 3 ) HOW TO CHANGE THE SET TEMPERATURE Dial a knob to left or right and stop dialing when reaching the desired digits. Then, the set digits will blink 3 times. It means that the set temperature has been changed. ( 4 ) OUTGO MODE When the OUTGO switch is pressed the OUTGO lamp is ON. It means that OUTGO mode has been set to protect a boiler from being frozen to burst in case that the room temperature becomes below 15 ℃. ( 5 )TERMINATION OF OUTGO MODE Press the OUTGO button again to terminate the set mode. 3 Rev.0( ) 5. HOW TO SET A MODE OF OPERATION

2. TIME( PROGRAM ) MODE OPERATION ■ Users can program their time schedules at this mode only. ■ At this mode the heating and cooling systems are operated according to the weekly program to be set by a user during a week. ■ Press the MODE button to enter into a TIME mode.
