Program Overview A non-profit, peer-to-peer residential recovery program: Grounded in 12 Steps and 12 Traditions of AA Emphasizes personal responsibility and accountability Shared leadership Based upon voluntary vs. coerced recovery initiation Men’s Facility 200 beds for single men (10 reserved for Veterans) Women’s Facility 100 beds for single women (5 reserved for Veterans)

Governance in a Peer-Based Social Model Recovery Program Participant responsibility for maintaining a safe environment Peer driven process for resolving conflicts and addressing concerns Capacity of peers to determine someone’s “status” in the program Assuming personal responsibility for one’s recovery Alcohol and other drugs are only part of the problem.
