würdenwould würden = would würden corresponds to the English would and is a special form of the verb werden.

Let’s look at the conjugations of the verb würden. IchDuEr/sie/esWirIhrSie/sie würde würdest würde würden würdet würden würden is considered the general subjunctive (Konjunktiv II). It is used to express a wish or a hypothetical conclusion

1) What would you say? 2) He would not go with us. 3) How would you do that? Was würdest du sagen? Er würde nicht mit uns gehen. Wie würdest du das machen? The construction würde + infinitive is sometimes called the "conditional" and is equivalent to the English would + infinitive. 4) She would not take the car. Sie würde das Auto nicht nehmen. When you use würden, the other verb is placed at the end of the sentence in it’s infinitive form.

1) For making hypothetical Conclusions…. 2) For expressing polite requests….. 3) For making wishes…. (normally using wenn –if) Ich würde meine Freunde vermissen. Würdest du bitte lauter sprechen? Wenn du nur mit mir kommen würdest. Uses of würden I would miss my friends. Would you please speak louder? If you would only come with me.
