Hydraulic fluid flow through an HWH dual cylinder (Synchronized) room extension.

The blue areas indicate resting fluid while the room is retracted. SYNCHRONIZING CYLINDER ROOM CYLINDER ROOM MANIFOLD

EXTEND SOLENOID VALVE RETRACT SOLENOID VALVE An internal check valve prevents fluid from returning to the power unit via the pressure port. Pressure port ROOM MANIFOLD

EXTEND SOLENOID VALVE RETRACT SOLENOID VALVE The needle valve of the RETRACT Solenoid Valve prevents fluid from returning to the power unit via the return port. Return port Room manifold

Two things happen in the room manifold when the room control switch is pushed to EXTEND. One: The needle valve of the EXTEND solenoid valve opens

Two: The power unit runs and pressure opens the check valve.

Hydraulic fluid is free to travel the path of least resistance through the EXTEND solenoid valve.

SYNCHRONIZING CYLINDER ROOM CYLINDER ROOM MANIFOLD

As the room cylinders extend fluid is forced into the synchronizing cylinder causing it to retract. SYNCHRONIZING CYLINDER ROOM CYLINDER ROOM MANIFOLD

This regenerative path will continue until the room control switch is released.

The blue areas indicate resting fluid while the room is extended. SYNCHRONIZING CYLINDER ROOM CYLINDER ROOM MANIFOLD

Two things happen in the room manifold when the room control switch is pushed to RETRACT. One: The needle valve of the RETRACT solenoid valve opens

Two: The power unit runs and pressure opens the check valve.
