State Capital: Oklahoma city It is a 69,903 sq. miles area and the 20 th biggest State in the USA.

The major farming wheat, cattle, oil, natural gas. The people are known as the Oklahomans. The population is 3,450,654 (as of 2000) Oklahoma is the 27th most populous state in the USA.3,450,654

Year 1887 through 1948 Inventor- Chester Arthur Reynolds) The way this became was that he so impressed with the Will Rogers Memorial in Claremore, Oklahoma that the experience prompted him to ask the question, why not Build a Hall of Fame honoring cowboys, cattlemen, and ranchers. Year Main person -Will Rogers He was a star of broad way and the 71 movies. A popular broadcaster wrote more than 4,000 syndicated newspaper columns. He was born on a ranch in the Cherokee Nation that would later be known as Oologah, Oklahoma. On July 25, 2000, Governor Keating announced plans to construct a dome on the Oklahoma State Capitol Building. Construction is slated to begin April 2001 with an estimated completion date of November 2002.
