Duke Theseus As the student body president, Theseus chooses to dress up. He will be seen in dress shirts, dress pants, dress shoes, ties, and jackets. He is the only human with a black/ gray color scheme.

Queen Titania Titania dresses with style and fashion. She’s also a queen, so she needs some bling (sparkles in the shoes, shiny jacket). Since she primarily lives at the party, her costume is more dressed up. Her main color is purple—the color of royalty.

Fairies Fairies in pop culture tend to have a kind of sparkle, to reflect their magic. In their party wear, their costumes are sparkly and frilly. The fairies are dressed in cool colors, usually green and blue to save the purple color for Queen Titania.

Hermia In an effort to look taller, Hermia wears a high-waisted mini skirt, v-neck shirts, and vertical pleats. Since she’s a flouncier character, I put her in pink.

Lysander Lysander is the guy that Hermia’s father does not want her to be with. His look is a little more rugged. The humans are all in warm colors, and Lysander’s color is red.

Bottom Since the mechanicals are also in student government, it’s natural they follow Theseus’s lead and dress up. The mechanicals wear dress shirts, dress pants, and ties.
