13 Updated as of 1 July 2014 The New gTLD Program – Trademark Clearing House The Trademark Clearinghouse is a one- stop solution to help protect a trademark across every new gTLD that comes online Sunrise Services Priority access to request domain names associated with your trademark(s) Trademark Claims Services Notification to a Rights Holder after registration, allowing for immediate action if the domain registered is infringing rights BEFORE THE NEW DOMAINS GO LIVE Submit Your Trademark

14 Updated as of 1 July 2014 The New gTLD Program - Uniform Rapid Suspension System If a clear-cut case of rights infringement occurs after a domain goes live, the rights holder can get rapid relief with the URS $ Quick Results Within 24 hours of a valid complaint, an infringing domain will be locked Inexpensive The URS is less expensive than the existing Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Procedure Find out AFTER A NEW DOMAIN GOES LIVE

15 Updated as of 1 July 2014 Trademark Post-Delegation Dispute Resolution Procedure The TM-PDDRP addresses instances where a Registry is complicit in trademark infringement at the first or second level of the new gTLD it operates Possible penalties include remedial measures, suspension of accepting new domain registrations in the TLD and, in extreme cases, termination of a Registry Agreement Independent, Expert Determination(s) ICANN appointed TM-PDDRP firms assemble panels of experts to determine liability and recommend remedies to ICANN AFTER A NEW DOMAIN GOES LIVE Find out
