To all of my cocky friends & family members who are Chicago Bears Fans: Yes, you may have won two games against my Packers this year and claim this as your “Super Bowl,” but I want to remind you what will be happening on January 12 th, 2008
This is what Lambeau Field will look like
This is what Soldier Field will look like: (Can’t you just hear the crickets chirping?)
Brett Favre will be reading defenses and passing for records
The only thing Rex Grossman will be reading is the “Help Wanted” section as he recalls his glory days
Kyle Orton will be passing out with his frat buddies
AJ Hawk will be falling back into coverage
Lance Briggs will be checking his insurance coverage
Nick Barnett will be tackling people
Brian Urlacher will be using his tackle box
Donald Driver will be pumping up the crowd
Devin Hester will be pumping gas into his hoopti in Miami as he parties with his University of Miami pals
Kabeer Gbaja Biamila will be smiling as he goes for the sack
Tank Johnson will be smiling all the way to the bank because the Bears sacked him
Saint Vince is smiling in Heaven…
…while George Halas is rolling over in his grave
Don’t be too upset though Bear fans….
At least you aren’t Viking fans….
