Lewis, W. To cite an essay in an anthology, start with the name of the author of the essay. (We’ll get to the editors of the book later.) No matter how many authors there may be, always write the last name first, followed by initials.

The title of the book is written in italics, with the same capitalization as the essay title. Write the page numbers for the essay inside parentheses, with “pp.”
