Who Is This KING? Powerful King In Speech -Luke 4:32 In Presence Over spiritual -Luke 4:36-37 Over natural -Luke 8:24-25

We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:20

For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, Colossians 2:9

They were amazed at his teaching, because his message had authority. Luke 4:32

He went down with them and stood on a level place He went down with them and stood on a level place. A large crowd of his disciples was there and a great number of people from all over Judea, from Jerusalem, and from the coast of Tyre and Sidon, Luke 6:17-19

who had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases who had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. Those troubled by evil spirits were cured, and the people all tried to touch him, because power was coming from him and healing them all. Luke 6:17-19

All the people were amazed and said to each other, “What is this teaching? With authority and power he gives orders to evil spirits and they come out!” And the news about him spread throughout the surrounding area. Luke 4:36-37

The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Master, Master, we’re going to drown!” He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm. Luke 8:24 -25

“Where is your faith. ” he asked his disciples “Where is your faith?” he asked his disciples. In fear and amazement they asked one another, “Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him.” Luke 8:24 -25

At daybreak Jesus went out to a solitary place At daybreak Jesus went out to a solitary place. The people were looking for him and when they came to where he was, they tried to keep him from leaving them. But he said, “I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.” Luke 4:42-43

…For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.” Luke 19:10

Who Is This KING? Leader King Follow Me - Matthew 4:18-20 Baptism & Holy Spirit - Matthew 3:13-17 Defeats Temptation - Matthew 4:1-11

As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” At once they left their nets and followed him. Matthew 4:18-20

Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?” Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented. Matthew 3:13-17

As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:13-17

Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” Matthew 4:1-11

Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. Matthew 4:1-11

“If you are the Son of god,” he said, “throw yourself down “If you are the Son of god,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written: ‘He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’” Matthew 4:1-11

Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’” Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.” Matthew 4:1-11

Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.” Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him. Matthew 4:1-11

Who Is This KING? Leader King Prayer - Luke 5:16 Cross - Luke 9:23-25

But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed. Luke 5:16

Then he said to them all: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self? Luke 9:23-25

Who Is This KING? Preacher / Teacher King Preacher - Matthew 4:17

Who Is This KING? Preacher / Teacher King Preacher - Matthew 4:17 (Sermon on the Mount)

From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.” Matthew 4:17

Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. Matthew 4:23

Who Is This KING? Forgiving King Luke 5:17-26 (paralytic lowered on mat by friends) Luke 5:20 Humble King Philippians 2:6-11 Servant King Matthew 20:25-28

When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.” Luke 5:20

Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death – even death on a cross! Philippians 2:6-11

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:6-11

Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, Matthew 20:25-28

and whoever wants to be first must be your slave – just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:25-28

Who Is This KING? Personal King Luke 5:12-13 Catalyst King John 8:11

While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, Luke 5:12-13

“Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him. Luke 5:12-13

“No one, sir,” she said. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.” John 8:11
