Repentance A "change of mind and will". Some baptized who haven't repented! Some even deny necessity of doing it! Example: Some guilty of adulterous marriages are being told it’s OK!
Confession This is a commitment. Acknowledging Him as Lord/Ruler. Romans 10:9,10 1 Peter 3:15 (ASV) Galatians 2:20
Baptism Though many reject baptism, this may be the only one of the "five steps" some have obeyed. Being a Christian is more than just outwardly conforming to certain acts.
What Must I Do To Be Saved? Hear the gospel. (Romans 10:17) Believe Jesus is Christ. (Acts 8:37) Repent of your sins. (Acts 17:30) Confess your faith. (Matthew 10:32) Baptized for remission of sins. (Acts 2:38) Faithful unto death. (Revelation 2:10)
