 The Bible teaches of ONE baptism that is effective and necessary (Ephesians 4:5).  We need to ask if we have received the proper baptism!

 THE ONE BAPTISM IS AN IMMERSION  It is a burial – Colossians 2:12, 13  Sprinkling and pouring do not meet the requirements of a burial.

 THE ONE BAPTISM IS IN WATER  Water baptism is the only baptism that is commanded – Acts 10:47, 48; Mark 16:16  Baptism of the Holy Spirit was never commanded.

 THE ONE BAPTISM IS FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS  Water baptism is the only baptism that is commanded – Acts 10:47, 48; Mark 16:16  “Baptism does not ‘save you,’ only your faith in Christ saves you.” (Southern Baptist Convention)
